Tips and Tricks – Meter Presets

The Massive Meter plugin and Massive Meter Bridge application both have a Preset option in their preferences. The Preset option allows for selecting Peak, RMS, Linear, D-Style, and K-Style. Digital VU and PPM Digital are coming in the 1.1 release.

The Presets option configures the available, individual settings for the meter to match a specific style of metering.

For example, when Peak is selected the Meter Type, Tick Marks, use of Segments, and color are selected to match the commonly used settings for Peak metering.

The Preset is not saved with the preferences but the settings Preset effects is saved with the preferences.

Note that when using the Preset option in the Massive Meter Bridge application, you must manually set the colors of the meters.
